The feature is contrary to the fixed or single gallonage. But the fixed or single gallonage and selectable or adjustable pressure nozzles have something in common: they both provide high-quality patterns of water flow even when the pressure is low. These are also available in three variations, nozzles, tips, and break- apart configurations.
4- Automatic or Constant Pressure
Automatic or constant pressure nozzles can be used in a wide range of flows for maintaining comparatively a constant pressure. The constant pressure is maintained by a mechanical mechanism, typically by using a spring.
The spring is present in the nozzle and adjusts automatically to increase or decrease the flow for maintaining the outlet pressure. As a result, an optimum stream performance is produced. To maintain a constant pressure and for producing the optimum stream performance, the automatic or constant nozzles reduce the flow when a reduced pressure is given to them. These are also available in nozzles, tips, or break- apart configuration.
5- Multi-purpose Nozzles
The smooth bore and fog nozzle is combined to make a multi-purpose nozzle. So, they have the features of both, they can reach and penetrate at maximum like the smooth bore and produce a fog stream like the fog nozzle. This nozzle has the versatile ability of large flow at reduced pressure.
